JR will make your ferry reservation for you.  All you have to do is show up at the dock.  The ferry staff will have your name on an exclusive list of invited guests allowed to visit Sapelo Island that day.  It will cost you $1.00 each way for the ferry (cash only) per person.  Sapelo Island is a 30 minute ferry ride.  For information on some of the sights you'll see on Sapelo, visit our Sapelo Sights Page.

Make time to visit the Sapelo Island Visitor Center before or after your tour - Hours Open: Tuesday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sunday 1:30- 5 p.m. Closed Monday.  (Route 1, Box 1500,Darien, GA 31305)
 
Ferry Schedule

Sapelo Island has limited access and prior arrangements must be made for planned visits to the island.  If prior arrangements are not made you may not be able to get on the ferry.   For directions to the dock, click here.
